Pomegranate Juice

Pomegranate is a very popular fruit known for health promoting characteristics. It is indeed a super fruit.

Peeling the seeds of this fruit is bit time consuming and irritating, but bearing the health benefits of the pomegranate seeds in mind, we can oversee this difficult task and regularize this super fruit in our regular routine to enjoy immense health benefits.

Health Benefits of Pomegranate:

1. This fruit is moderate in calories, approximately 100gms gives 83 calories.
2. It contains no cholesterol or saturated fats.
3. It is rich source of soluable and insoluable dietary fibre.
4. It is rich source of Vitamin-C and Vital B Complex group of vitamins.
5. It has potent anti-cancer and immune supporting effect.
6. Lowers blood pressure.


Ingredients:

Pomegranate Seeds - 3/4th fruit , washed and drained
Milk - 1/2 glass
Water - 1 glass
White Sugar or Palm Sugar - 2 tsp




Method:

Blend everything together in a mixie/blender and refrigerate for an hour and then drink.
